Beautiful and precisely fitting round tube finish for the shortened rear of the K models. The main frame can therefore be shortened at the desired point and replaced by the loop. The same outer pipe diameter as the original and, above all, the same inner pipe diameter as the original and therefore very easy to align and weld! Delivery takes place with exact fitting sleeves in order to optimally position the loop and as a basis for an optimal welded connection. We usually shorten the rear just behind the cross strut (25 mm) and leave the sheet metal reinforcements on the left and right as far as possible - because the TÜV likes to see it that way! Enclosed sleeves are intended for alignment, as a welding aid and for stabilization. It is best not to place the loop bluntly on the rear frame, but rather leave a little space so that the sleeve is properly welded together! Since the rear frame of the K models tapers towards the rear, the loop does not always fit 100 percent depending on the selected installation position. If this is the case, the components (tail and / or loop) can be slightly heated or simply brought into position with a sturdy ratchet strap.
Available in two lengths of 260 mm and 160 mm - for the short version there is the matching GRP solo seat (BO-SS-005) or bench (BO-SI-007) with a bench length of approx. 520 mm. We also offer a longer loop variant (FA-HE-003) for 600 mm bench shells (BO-SS-006) or bench seats (BO-SI-009).
